Brief History of Organization
GADF was incorporated as a society in BC under the Society Act on March 9, 2004 (click here to view a JPEG image of the GADF Certificate of Incorporation). It was created by a group of hydrogeologists interested to act towards the improvement of the water resources management practices in developing countries.

Dr. Diana Allen, B.Sc. Hons , M.Sc., Ph.D., Carleton, is Associate Professor at Simon Fraser University. Dr. Allen focuses on hydrogeology with particular emphasis on groundwater resource evaluation and hydrogeological modeling. She also has related interests in climate change impacts on groundwater resources, environmental isotopes and geochemistry, and low temperature geothermal (aquifer thermal energy storage) systems and thermal modeling. Mike Wei, P.ENG. is groundwater engineer with over 24 years experience in technical and regulatory aspects of hydrogeology and water management. He is currently the Deputy Comptroller of Groundwater Rights within the Province of British Columbia, Ministry of Environment.
